Having been the fire systems maintenance contractor for Community Housing Association (one of the largest housing associations in London) this contract escalated dramatically when CHA merged with a number of other associations to form One Housing Group.
We were required to tender for the maintenance contract for all of the premises in the new group, and we are very pleased to have been succesful in this process. This contract now covers some 400 properties and we have developed bespoke reporting facilities for the client to simplify the management of this large contract.
Building on our initial relationships with the core private sector hospitals, The Princess Grace, The Portland and The Wellington, Chameleon's involvement with HCA has expanded rapidly to incorporate the other London Hospitals now within the group.
These hospitals now include The London Bridge, The Lister, The Harley Street Clinic, Heron House, 216 Great Portland Street and more. All of these buildings have had major system upgrades or replacements carried out by ourselves for HCA. We like to think that this is a great example of earning the trust and respect of a major client!
As the incumbent maintenance contractor for this large four star London hotel, Chameleon were awarded a £100K contract to install new fire alarm and detection equipment as part of the total refurbishment of four floors of the hotel.
The new analogue addressable equipment was installed to a high specification to form part of the existing building fire alarm system consisting of 8 networked Morley IAS multi loop control panels.
This project involved working within the overall contractual chain, with extensive liaison with the main electrical contractor, building contractor, project and design consultant and various other trades. The nature of the project required a multi phased installation, commissioning and handover process.
